My name is Beth Gillespie. We’re in Saco, Maine, at Saco Sport & Fitness.
The objective when we first started was to do away with all paper signs so all of our signage is done on the televisions.
We have three setups throughout the club, and we have one more above our Percussion Therapy, just to show the the guns and how to use them. And it’s really very effective. You know the weather’s on there. We have our nutrition program coming up that on the board so that we do get more participation in our programs based on that.
Videos seem to be more impactful. So people are watching the television of the video programs. They’re getting a kind of a preview of the program to know if it’s effective for them.
It’s all over the club. They can have different spaces where they can kind of poke their heads up and say, “Oh, that’s right! This is going on.”
Easy easy to change the messages. I can do it from home. it’s web-based so I don’t have to be in the club to change the televisions. We can change it very easily if we have an announcement to make.
I love that it connects to Canva.
The people are really easy to talk to. You guys are very friendly!
DERRY: If you could snap your fingers and have us solve one problem in your industry, what would it be?
BETH: Well, I’m the membership person, so I always want more members. But how do we keep people working out longer? Now we’re starting to see a resurgence of people in the community, and understanding the value of it.
I really enjoy the product. I think it’s effective and it’s cleaned up the club. And people respond to it so it’s a great product.
