The Lite player is a Raspberry Pi 4B, made in the U.K. and if your WiFi password contains special characters then you may have discovered that it is difficult to type in special characters such as @ or #. You can follow the steps below to change your keyboard layout to US.
Using a keyboard and mouse connected to the player box (Raspberry Pi) do the following:
1. Connect power and let the device finish booting up
2. Press CTRL+W to exit to the desktop
3. Click on the terminal icon at the lower-left (little black square with >_ symbols on it)
4. In the terminal window, type “sudo rasp-config” and press “enter”
5. Use the keyboard arrows to scroll down to “Localisation options” and press “Enter”
6. From there, follow the steps in this video to complete the keyboard personalization process
7. When done, you should be able to type normally. After connected to WiFi, simply unplug power from the player for a few seconds to reboot and wait for it to load your signage channel.
