RSS App

The RSS (Really Simple Syndication) app allows you to display "news" from any website that offers a feed. This is really useful for pulling news from local publications or niche interest websites. All you need is the web address for the feed in the standard XML format. A Google search for xyz RSS feed will usually pull up what you need, or just visit the site of your choice and click on the RSS link to view what they have.

Styling and display options for this app are the same as for our News app. You can show rotating individual articles, or format them as scrolling tickers, etc. Refresh frequency for RSS feeds in our system is every four minutes. More about RSS
